Langley Haven Care Home values training and is always striving to improve the training programme, on-going, designed to meet the needs of individuals. The training records of the home can be viewed, at any time, on demand.
Training is paramount in the care home and all staff attend mandatory training that is relevant to the residents and the care sector, that includes Fire Awareness, Manual Handling, Infection Control, Dementia Awareness and Respect, Dignity and Diversity.
We always have appropriate numbers of trained carers to address our residents' needs and staffing is constantly reviewed to respond to the changes. Specialist training is of importance to us, and we believe that the key to the delivery of a high standard of care is to have a well-trained and caring team.
